Obituary For Sadie Harris
Sadie W. (Anness) Harris, 74, of Hebron passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.
Sadie was born on August 10, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky to Newton and Elmo (Courtney) Anness. She worked for many years at Signode Corporation, Florence and following her retirement from Signode, she was a partner in L & S Cleaning Services, providing both residential and business cleaning services. She enjoyed bargain hunting at yard sales and crafting.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Harris; sons, Michael C. Harris and James A. Harris; her parents; a brother, Harry Anness; and sisters in law, Brenda Anness and Carol Anness.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Harris; daughter, Melissa Harris; three grandchildren, Christopher Harris, Michael Harris, Jacob Harris; two great grandchildren; and brothers, Albert (Donna) Anness and Allen Anness.
Visitation is 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 pm.
