Obituaries

Sandra "Sandy" K. Robinson, 79, of Dayton, passed away on February 8, 2026 surrounded by family. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Robinson, her father, Willard Buelow, mother, Dorothy Wessel, and step-father, Stanley Wessel, her step-siblings; Stanley, Fred, Robert, Jerry, and Margaret Wessel.

Left to cherish Sandy's memory are her daughter, Jennifer Miller (John), sons, Kenny Robinson (Suzy), Chris Robinson (Lisa), brother, Terry Buelow (Diana), sister, Eileen Steele, brother in law Terry Robinson (Gail) and sister in law Mary Ann Wessel. Grandchildren, Cassie, Brett, Amber, Lexi, Leah, Jaxon, Kayla, and Josie, great-grandchildren, Ava, Austin, Riley and Violet. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Sandy worked for the Dayton Independent Schools where she was known as the “Cafeteria Lady.” After retirement, she enjoyed going to the casino with her sister Eileen where they met many friends. She loved being able to support her grandchildren at all of their sporting events. In the last few years, she enjoyed going to the bingo on Friday nights. She was always up for a card game, whether it was euchre or poker with family and friends.

A visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, KY 41073. A service will take place Friday, February 13, at 10:00 am at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.
