Sharon Gail Sears, 75, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2026 surrounded by love and family. She was born on January 22, 1951, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to the late Fred Turner and Bertha Turner.

Sharon retired after working as an IRS tax claims examiner. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, going to the casino, working in the yard, and sitting outside on the porch. Most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her family and her dog, Kianna.

Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her life partner of 40 plus years, Robert Sears; her daughters, Linda Kidwell and Deborah Walters; her siblings, Nadine Turner, Alva Turner, Mattie Mayes, Janie Fulkerson, Wanda Bailey; and her brother, Larry Turner.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Justice (Joey), Patricia Gibson (Joe), and Bobby Sears (Linda); her sisters, Eunice Kreger and Iris Wilder; her grandchildren, Roger, Linsey, Justin, Summer, Josh, Paige, Brett, Tony, Mike, Dawn, and Heather; and her great-grandchildren, Roger, Rheanna, Karly, Dylan, Makayla, Raelynn, Dolly, Jacob, Sullivan, Ryan, Brooke and Sabrina.

Sharon will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the simple things in life that brought her happiness. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
