Obituary For Sheila Rae Sharpe
Sheila Rae Sharpe, 55, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on October 9, 2026. She was born on March 8, 1971, in Covington, Kentucky, to Bobby Glenn and Ida Juanita (Leffler) Sharpe.
Sheila leaves behind her daughter, Savannah Richmond (Truman); her sons, Christian Sharpe (Gena) and Talon Sharpe; her adopted son, Brad Aker; her sisters, Kathy Gierse (Ted) and Donna Gross (Joel); 17 grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephews; and her adopted neighborhood children to whom she provided a safe and loving environment.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Teresa Aker (Brad); her brothers, Bobby Sharpe and Ricky Sharpe; and her grandson, Asher Durham.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Care. At noon, family and friends will share eulogies and memories in honor of Sheila’s life.
