Obituary For Shelley Marie Haddigan

Shelley Marie Haddigan, 60, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on July 19, 1965, she was the daughter of Susan Callison and the late Thomas Callison. Shelley devoted 15 years of her career to the healthcare industry as a recreational therapist before retiring.

Shelley was a devoted Christian and a founding member of Crossroads Church in Florence. Her faith guided her life and her service to others. She generously volunteered with the church’s Whiz Kids program, where she helped third-grade students develop their reading skills and confidence.

Throughout her life, Shelley had a deep compassion for others. She spent many years working with New Hope Pregnancy Center, counseling and supporting young women facing difficult decisions and encouraging them to choose life for their unborn children.

Shelley also found great joy in the simple moments of life, especially spending time with her beloved dogs. Her love of animals inspired the same affection in her daughter, Lauren. Above all, Shelley will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend with a deeply caring heart.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Tom Haddigan; her daughter, Lauren (Sarah Fay) Haddigan; her sisters, Deanna (Ryan) Moon and Caroline (Jude Hehman) Callison; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Crossroads Church, 828 Heights Blvd., Florence, KY 41042. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested in Shelley’s name to the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) at adoptastray.com.

Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
