Sherry Lynn Watson (Kappes), born on August 20, 1973, and departed this life on May 24, 2026, in Florence, KY.

Sherry was a woman of deep faith, dedicating much of her life to her church community. She devoted countless hours to serving in children’s church and actively participated in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) along with various other ministries. Her unwavering commitment to her faith was evident in her service and in the strong values and love she instilled in her children.

She is survived by her beloved children, Carl Daniel Watson and Amanda Lynn Watson, as well as her siblings and dear friends who meant the world to her. Sherry cherished these relationships and found great joy in the connections she nurtured with those around her.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Kappes and William F. Kappes; her brothers, Dennis Kappes and Danny Martin Kappes; and her sisters, Susan Kappes and Mary Carrington. The memories of her loved ones remained a significant part of Sherry’s life.

Sherry’s legacy of faith, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to all who grieve her loss.

Memorial Service to be held at Union Baptist Church on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 1PM. Visitation will be between the hours of 11AM to 1PM.
