Shirley Jean Hall, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Boonespring Skilled Nursing Facility in Union, KY. She was born in Covington, KY on September 19, 1946, to the late Clarence Walker and Mildred Rutledge.

She was a homemaker who took pride in taking care of her family. She was an avid pig collector and many other things. Shirley had a wonderful talent and love for quilting. She enjoyed playing bingo with friends loved spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Clarence and Mildred Walker; her siblings, Edward Walker, Richard Walker, Vernon Walker and Wavelyn Ryals.

Survivors include her loving husband and best friend of 61 years, Mr. Michael Leroy Hall; her children, Michelle (Chris) Conley, Rochelle (Tony) Smith, Michael (Connie) Hall, Danielle (Dave) Mussio, Eric (Wendy) Hall; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Linda (Allen) Oliver, Charles (Cindy) Walker, John (Marcia) Walker, Glenda (Danny) Harlow; sisters-in-law’s, Mary Walker, Joan Walker, Malinda Walker, and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden, 5336 Taylor Mill Rd., Covington, KY 41015.
