Obituary For Shirley Mae Kuper
Shirley Mae Kuper (née Bergelt), 74, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026.
Shirley was born September 15, 1951, in Covington, KY, to the late Paul Albert and Bernice Elizabeth (Elliott) Bergelt.
Shirley was proceeded in death by her parents; her daughter, Melissa Ann Kuper; and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Kuper.
She leaves behind her husband, Richard P. Kuper; children, Rick Kuper and Stephanie (Bill) Bartlett; grandchildren, Skylar Bartlett, Mason Kuper, Rodney Dougoud, Kayla Dougoud, Ashley Deboer and Bryan Taravella; siblings, Kim Shaw, Paul Bergelt, Lynn Shell, Sharon Crail; and her beloved dog, Tank.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY 41001, from 11:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 PM.
A celebration of life will follow at the Exhibit Hall at the Alexandria Fair Grounds following the committal service at Alexandria Cemetery.
