Obituary For Shirley Mae Studer
Shirley Mae Studer (née Schof), 87, of Covington, KY, formerly of California, KY, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026. Shirley was born October 7, 1938, in Carthage, KY.
She was a retired certified nursing assistant. Shirley was a member of Saint Joseph Church, Camp Springs, KY, and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Studer; her parents, Frank and Clara (Huff) Schof; grandson, Andrew Swartz; and five siblings: Irvin Schof, Jacob Schof, Chris Schof, Charles Schof, and Anna Bythewood.
Shirley is survived by six children: Deborah (Neil) Davidson, Brenda (Robert) Lunsford, Ronald (Sheila) Studer, Myrna Studer, Kathleen (Donald) Swartz, and Michael (Lisa) Studer; eleven grandchildren: Adrienne (Colt) Vannarsdall, Christina Franks, Emmylou (Mike) Doyle, Jonathan (Jemma) Franks, Derek (Lindsey) Boschert, Amanda Studer, Justin Studer, Sarah (Kevin) Robinson, Elizabeth Studer, and Shawn Studer; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2026, at Saint Joseph Church, 6833 Four Mile Road, Camp Springs, KY 41059, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Camp Springs, KY.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Alexandria Funeral Home.
