Obituary For Sophia Drucilla Teeters

Sophia Drucilla Teeters, 70, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Sophia’s life was a testament to love, warmth, and boundless devotion to her family, whose lives she touched deeply throughout the years.

Sophia’s gentle spirit and caring heart were evident to all who knew her. She chose a path rooted in nurturing and support, embracing her role as a homemaker with compassion and pride. Sophia’s home was more than a house, it was a haven where laughter echoed, kindness flourished, and every family member felt cherished.

Most of all, Sophia found true fulfillment in motherhood. She poured her heart into raising her four sons, guiding them with unwavering love and steadfast guidance.

Sophia’s nurturing nature extended beyond her children; she especially treasured her moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. These times brought her unmeasurable joy, as she listened to their stories, encouraged their dreams, and celebrated every milestone in their lives. Her legacy will endure for generations through the warmth and wisdom she imparted.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Michael Teeters of Ludlow; her four sons, Benny Jones of West Covington, Dennis Jones of Hebron, Brandon Teeters of Erlanger, and Matthew Teeters of Ludlow; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry and Roger Day; and sister, Theresa Day.

Services are private for the convenience of the family.

Interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky.

Sophia Drucilla Teeters leaves behind the joy, love, and fond memories that will be forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her. In remembering her, her family finds comfort in the gentle legacy she leaves a life beautifully lived, a family forever blessed.
