Obituary For Stanley Tillett, Jr.
Stanley “Mickey” Tillett Jr. 86, of Alexandria, KY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 16, 2026. He was the son of Stanley and Frances (Workman) Tillett Sr.
Mickey proudly served in the United States Army and served at the Pentagon. He retired from General Electric where he was a Certified Professional Engineer. He enjoyed the YMCA, math, Bigfoot and trains. He also loved sports, especially UK, Louisville and his beloved Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Thelma June (nee Poe) Tillett in 1989; brothers, Dave Tillett, Phillip Tillett and Richard Tillett; and sisters, Joan Donahue and Betty Tillett.
He leaves behind his wife Gloria Tillett; sons, Chip (Aimee) Tillett and Mike Tillett; brother, Paul Tillett; and grandchildren, Aubrey Tillett and Brady Tillett.
A visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, KY on Wednesday October 21, 2026, from 10:00am – 12:00pm. The service will begin at 12:00 pm and the burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
