Steve Ahr, 74, of Florence, KY passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Steve was born in Berne, IN on February 16, 1949 to the late Robert and Emma Lou (Riesen) Ahr. During his life, Steve worked as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He had a passion for boating and enjoyed watching UK Basketball. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Sue Ahr, sisters Sandra Willard (Ron) and Christine Schaefer (Ed), and loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10am to 12 noon at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation.
