Obituary For Steve Collins

Steve Collins, a beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away on April 23, 2026, in Covington, Kentucky. Born on December 19, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

Those who knew Steve fondly remembered him for his quick wit and generous spirit—he loved to joke and would do anything for anyone. His passions included cheering for the University of Kentucky, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the WWE. Steve found joy in fishing and took great pleasure in sharing meals with his family, always eager to explore new dining experiences together. Above all, his proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him.

Steve is survived by a devoted family who carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He is deeply missed by his children, Gregory (Jessie) Edwards; Marie (Shaun) King, Tiffany Collins-Patrick, Heather Collins, Kyle Collins and Britnee Collins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Daryl (Sherry) Collins and Terry (Laura) Collins; and sister Cheryl (Ramon) Collins. Many other cherished family members and friends also mourn his loss and celebrate the impact he had on their lives.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jackie Collins (Partin); father, Blaine Collins; and son, Brandon Brown.

A visitation will be held on April 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a service at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.

Steve Collins’ presence brought light and laughter to those around him. His generosity and warmth will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who had the privilege to know him. His memory will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
