Obituary For Steven Carl Jahnke
Steven Carl Jahnke, 67, of Dayton, KY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Steve had worked at Lowes as a Customer Service Associate. He loved playing the guitar, spending time outdoors and camping. Steve especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Steve was born April 19, 1958 to the late Donald Jahnke and Emmajean (nee: Bates) Jahnke. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Jahnke & son, Chad Jahnke.
Steve is survived by his wife, Kim (nee: Matthews) Jahnke, sons, Daniel (Mandy) Jahnke, Derrick (Darion) Jahnke, daughters, Kelly Jahnke, Katie (Dean) Jahnke, Sarah Jahnke, Step Sons, Michael Vawter, Steven (Crystal) Vawter & several grandchildren.
Visitation 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. Funeral Ceremony will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue, Kentucky, with Brother James Lancaster, officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, Ft Mitchell, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
