Obituary For Steven Kelly Blair
Steven Kelly Blair, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on July 23,1967, in Detroit, Michigan, Steven was the son of the late David George Blair and Martha (née Lovelace) Blair.
Steven leaves behind his wife, Kim; his children, Chynna Schneider (Michael) and Jared Blair (Sydney); his cherished grandchildren, Aria Schneider, Aveya Schneider, and Brooks Blair; 11 siblings; and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David George Blair and Martha (née Lovelace) Blair, and his brother, Ronnie Blair.

He was the last of the good guys. My brother-in-law will forever live in our hearts, mind and spirit. His unyielding love for his wife, children and family could be seen in every facet of his daily life...the last of a rare and dying breed. Rest in peace, Kelly.

When I think of Kelly (and Kim) I think of laughter and good food. I knew Kelly as a grill master with his world's best ribs, a guy who also liked to talk gardens (he had a beautiful one) and an all around nice guy. You'll be missed by many.
