Obituary For Sylvia Ann Schewene
Sylvia Ann Schewene, 87, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
She was a former member of Holy Cross Parish in Covington (Latonia), KY, and graduated from Villa Madonna/Thomas More University. Sylvia studied social work and specialized in treating alcoholism.
She worked with the Procter & Gamble Company as a comptometer operator and retired as a tax analyst from the Internal Revenue Service in Covington, KY. Sylvia was a devoted caregiver to her family throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Ruby Crawford Schewene and siblings: Robert Schewene, Donald Schewene, Louis Schewene, Paul Schewene and Phillip Schewene.
Sylvia is survived by her siblings: Charles Schewene, Clifford Schewene, Alice Schewene and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY.
