Obituary For Tammy Lynne Hubbard
Tammy Lynne Hubbard, 52, of Dayton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on July 28, 1973, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Tammy was the beloved daughter of the late Barbara "Barb" [Schaefer] and Johnny H. Jones.
Tammy dedicated her life to what mattered most to her: her family. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and was happiest at home, surrounded by the people and things she loved. She was creative and crafty, enjoyed settling in with her favorite television shows and movies, enjoyed gardening and had a special fondness for Mickey Mouse and the Grinch. Tammy loved collecting roosters, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles with Danielle, and starting her day with a tall cup of coffee from UDF. More than anything, Tammy loved being a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. One of her greatest joys was being a mom to Danielle, whether that meant sharing an Eagles game, watching a favorite show, or simply spending time together at home. Through every hardship, her family remained her greatest blessing.
Known for her quick wit, spunky spirit, and just the right amount of sass, Tammy had a way of making those around her laugh and feel loved. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always by those fortunate enough to know and love her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Wade E. Hubbard; her daughter, Danielle Hubbard; her siblings, Kathy (Eric) Painter and Johnny C. (Erica) Jones; her siblings-in-law, Chris (Marcia) Hubbard and Tammi Jo Naylor (Jeff Hunter); her nieces and nephews, James "Jamee" (Amber) Humphrey (Eiden, James, and Jasey), Matthew Fischer (Ryder), Jonathan Fischer, Cheyenne Jones, Chelsea (Adam) Broering (Adeline and Joel), Cailey (Ryan) Brownfield (Haiden, Addyson, Kamryn, and Korbin), Caitlyn Jones (Paityn and Johnny), Robert Naylor (Roselynn, Micah, and Noah), and Rita Naylor; along with many other relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her beloved dogs, Daisey, Princess, and Bocephus, who undoubtedly greeted her with wagging tails.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, Kentucky 41051. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tammy's honor to Friends of NorthKey.
