It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Gober, 74, of Burlington, KY, who went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2025. Terry, who was born December 29, 1950, was a senior programmer/analyst for almost 50 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army stationed in Germany. He was a lifelong fan of Chicago sports. Terry especially loved cheering on the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks. In his younger years, he was an avid baseball player and even had the opportunity to try out for the Cincinnati Reds. He was a lover of Disney World, Doctor Who, Star Wars and Star Trek. Terry had a love for movies, music, puzzles and trivia—rarely missing a beat in any trivia game he played. He was incredibly intelligent and known for his great sense of humor.

Terry’s life was a testament of his love for his family. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy; his daughter, Tricia (Joe) Walter; his sons, Jason (Amber) Gober, Nathan Gober, Aaron (Amanda) Gober, and Jeremy Gober. He was a proud grandfather to Trinity, Grant and Aidan. He also leaves behind his brother, Stacey (Jen) Yimet; his sister, Beverly (Joe) Feldkircher; his sister-in-law, Amy (Chris) Storer; and brother-in-law, Rick Huff and his dog, Wrigley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Joe and Christine Gober, and his sisters-in-law, Karen Boutwell and Kathy Huff.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. held at Christ’s Chapel in Erlanger, KY.
