Thelma Serra, 95 years of age, of Elsmere, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Thelma was 1 of 12 children born to the late Fred and Lula Rouse. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Serra and her beloved sons, Charles F. “Butch” Serra and Steven Serra. Thelma leaves behind her son, Michael Serra; daughter, Linda Brockmeier and son, Gary Serra (Susan). She was the proud grandmother of Kelli, Kristina, Michelle, Crystal, Dion, Chris, Brandon, Stevie, Shannon, Stephanie, Tony, Dominic and Erica. Dear sister of Lorraine Rich, Sonny Rouse, Buddy Rouse, Victor Rouse and David Rouse (Gert). She also leaves behind many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her wonderful caretaker of the past few years, Pam Manies. Thelma was a woman of great faith and a longtime member of the Florence Baptist Temple. She worked and retired after many years of service at the airport at Sky Chefs. She enjoyed sewing and will be remembered for her abundant love she shared with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family will gather for visitation on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US HWY 42, FLORENCE, KY 41042.
