Obituary For Timothy Douglas Beckelhimer
Timothy Douglas "Tim" Beckelhimer, 57, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Noblesville, Indiana, leaving behind a legacy of joy, music, and unwavering loyalty. Born on September 28, 1966, in Covington, Kentucky, Tim was the beloved son of Andrew Douglas and Patricia Ruth Beckelhimer.
A proud Xavier University graduate, Tim dedicated his professional life to his role as Midwest Division Manager for Chem-Aqua. Yet, his passions extended far beyond the office. A die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, Tim was a cherished shareholder and an active member of the Packers Fans of Greater Cincinnati. His commitment to the Packers was matched only by his love for rock music, which was the soundtrack of his life. Tim’s affinity for rock was more than a hobby—it was a defining aspect of who he was. He played guitar and had the ability to hear a song and be able to play it without sheet music.
Tim’s passion for live music was equally profound. He attended countless concerts, always seeking out the next great performance and relishing the communal experience of live shows. From the legendary rock icons to emerging bands, Tim’s concert experiences were a celebration of the music he adored. His friends and family will fondly remember him for his boundless energy and enthusiasm during these events, making each concert a memorable adventure.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Tim was a proud member of the Bourbon Guys with his dear friend, Larry Parece, and had a discerning palate that led him to explore numerous coffee houses and eateries. Known affectionately as a "foodie," he had an uncanny ability to find the best dining spots around, always eager to share his latest culinary discoveries.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Beckelhimer; his sons, Josh (Zakieh) Beckelhimer and Jake Beckelhimer; his father, Doug Beckelhimer; his mother, Patti Noon; his brothers, Troy (Emily) Beckelhimer and Tony Beckelhimer; and MANY friends and family who will deeply miss him.
A Gathering of Friends celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home ~ Chapel A, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A celebratory sharing of memories and music will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
In honor of Tim’s vibrant spirit, the family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life by wearing green, yellow, or gold, or donning a Green Bay Packers jersey or their favorite band t-shirt. Tim’s departure has left a void in many hearts, but his memory will live on through the music he loved, the people he cherished, and the countless moments he made special for those around him.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Tim’s name to either the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284 or the Sweet Dream House Rescue, 657 Wayne Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45215.
Tim’s vibrant energy, passionate interests, and loving heart will be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
