Obituary For Timothy M. Quill
Timothy Mark Quill (Timmy) of Erlanger, Ky, 74, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at home surrounded by loving family members.
Tim was born in Covington, Ky to the late Dr. Larry Quill and Marilyn Wigger Quill.
Tim began his career as a Nuclear Medical Tech before joining Fuji Medical as a salesman. His dedication, hard work and warmth with clients earned him Salesman of the Year each of his 25 years.
In 1988 Tim met the love of his life, Carol. They married in 1991. For 35 1/2 years they lived blissfully for each other in every way.
Tim had a lifelong passion for Thoroughbred Racing influenced by his relationship with his father. He would often say he was "born with a pitchfork in his hand." He reveled in attending races with his wife and friends, owned a couple of promising horses, and loved spending time with his very dear friend, Tommy Bischoff, handicapping races.
Tim has also been a member of the National Assoc. of Watch & Clock Collectors (NAWCC) for 50 years. He had a passion for the history, collecting, and repairing of antique clocks; many proudly displayed throughout his home. This passion extended further into other antique collecting.
Tim was a 4th degree black belt in karate in the Okinawan Shorin Ryu style and taught classes for free, including many friends and family. Passionate about being out in nature, Tim loved to travel, the beauty and openness of boating on oceans and lakes, snow skiing, and morning walks at the ocean.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Kruer Quill, his brother Larry Quill, his sister Shannon Arsenault (Ken), along with extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Visitation will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Taylor Mill, Ky. on Monday, August 17, at 12:30 pm. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 2 pm. Stith Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to: Cincinnati Cancer Advisors, 4805 Montgomery Road Suite 130, Cincinnati, OH 45212 or the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund (PDJF) P.O. Box 803, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
Tim's family invite all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life. Please share your own stories & memories with the family to keep his memory alive.
May he rest in eternal peace. Until we see you again.
