Obituary For Todd A. Black
Todd A. Black, 58, of Alexandria, KY passed away on July 12, 2026, on the family farm surrounded by his family that he loved dearly. Todd was born on May 26, 1968, to his parents Ronald and Helen (Pettit) Black.
Todd worked as a welder for Controls and Sheetmetal. He was a hard worker and worked many days on the farm. In his free time, he loved hunting and fishing and always loved taking the time to play with his nieces and nephews and the neighborhood kids.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Troy “Froggie” Black.
He is survived by his brothers Tim (Janine) Black, Terry (Connie Fox) and Roy Black, as well as half-sister Mickey Black; and his special nieces and nephews Cassie (Brad) Maxwell, Amanda (Brian) Kallmeyer, Timmy (Gail) Black, Jillian (Brandon) Reisenbeck and Jessica Black.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 7:00pm.
The family has requested on Todd’s behalf this is not a suit and tie event. Todd was a hard-working man and his friends are working people.
