Tom Bleska, age 78 of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024 surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 14, 1945 to Harry Bleska and Laverne Overend Bleska. Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as a Scraper Hand in the machinery industry, most recently with the DC Morrison company in Covington, KY. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Laverne Bleska, Daughter, Christi Thompson, and Siblings, Elizabeth Christine Bleska and Russell Harry Bleska. Tom is survived by his Wife of 35 years, Terry Bleska, Children, Jodi Glass, Kim Thompson, Scott Bleska (Jenna), Tom Thompson (Jane), Niki Stone (Ray), and Heather Meadors, 17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Tom was always so welcoming to the newer members of our family. He was laid back and easy to talk to. Tom liked to joke around and make everyone laugh. One of Tom’s favorite things to do was to take his grandchildren fishing. Tom will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The Visitation will be from 4 – 6 PM with the Memorial Service to follow at 6 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042.
