Vickie Ann Owens, 65, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Born in Covington, Kentucky, on February 21, 1960, Vickie was the loving daughter of the late Floyd and Thelma Cooper. She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Vickie found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time outdoors fishing or camping, working on puzzles, and relaxing with a good cup of coffee in her favorite chair.

Vickie had a deep love for children, and while she cherished all kids, her grandchildren truly meant the world to her. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Cooper and Binkie Cooper, and her sisters, Becky Abney, Shirley Carpenter, and Terry Bain.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Robert Owens; her sons, Donald (Deidre) Neuspickel and Robert Owens Jr.; her daughter, Amy (Steven) Andrews; her brothers, Glenn (Shirley) Cooper, Nickie Cooper, and Floyd (Tina) Cooper Jr.; her sisters, Sandra Scott, Connie Suedkamp, and Linda (Skip) Scattschneider; and her 11 cherished grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
