Obituary For Victoria Lee Brown

Victoria Lee Brown, 68, of Alexandria, passed away on July 5, 2026.

Born to the late Claud and Arlie Proud, Victoria devoted her life to serving others through education and her family. She was a dedicated teacher at Riley Elementary School, where she spent countless years inspiring young minds and making a lasting difference in the lives of her students. Victoria had a special gift for creating a warm, welcoming classroom where every child felt valued and encouraged to learn. Her passion for education was reflected not only in her teaching but also in her commitment to lifelong learning, earning two master's degrees throughout her career.

While teaching was one of her greatest callings, nothing brought Victoria more joy than her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Victoria will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Jerry Brown; her daughters, Emily Brown and Rebecca Brown; and her cherished grandchildren, Maya Jayce, Graylin, and Charlotte. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, former students, and colleagues who will forever remember her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Victoria's legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, both inside and outside the classroom. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th, 2026 from 10am- 12 noon. Service will begin at noon. Burial will be immediately following at Alexandria cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
