Obituary For Virginia Hampton Stephens
Virginia Hampton Stephens, age 83, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on October 26, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Adam and Alan Hampton; and stepdaughter, Angela Roppe.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Danny Stephens; her stepchildren, Sheryl Vollmer (Kurt), Donna Hawkins, Lynnette Stephens, Danny Stephens II (Jaime), and Marc Stephens (Tracy); her siblings, Mike Kruse and Susan Spenneberg; her grandchildren, Samantha Hampton and Alan Hampton Jr; and many step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery in Covington, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stephens family to help provide care for Virginia’s beloved horse, Buster.
