Virginia Mae Adams (nee Vogelpohl) 94 years of age, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.

She was the loving wife of the late Herbert Adams (1978) and devoted mother of Tom Adams (Barbara), Timothy M. Adams (Christine), Kathleen D. Maudsley (Mike), and James D. Adams. After 28 years of service with the Internal Revenue Service, Ginny worked part time at K-Mart until fully retiring to spend more time with family and friends. Growing up she worked bingo with her Dad then carried on that tradition by volunteering at Covington Catholic Bingo for over 25 years until the COVID-19 pandemic. Her faith was instrumental throughout her life, offering her strength, peace and influencing the kindness and grace she showed everyone she met. She enjoyed crocheting and donated countless blankets, hats and scarves to local charities. Ginny cherished time with her family, keeping cash on hand ready to play a game of Pass the Ace. She prioritized being a good friend and continued to stay in touch with grade school friends from St. Mary’s Cathedral.
