Obituary For Virginia Maria Jump
Virginia Maria Jump (née Foppe), age 75, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.
She was born on December 26, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Robert and Jacqueline Foppe.
Virginia (“Ginny,” “Gee,” and lovingly known as “Gee Maw”) will be remembered for her strength, determination, and quick wit, as well as her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She had a remarkable way of putting others first, always offering love, support, and laughter to those around her.
A faithful member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, Virginia lived a life rooted in faith and service. She dedicated 45 years to a career in Information Technology with the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, where her hard work and commitment made a lasting impact.
Gee found her greatest joy in time spent with the people she loved. Whether she was relaxing by the pool, vacationing at the beach with friends, or proudly watching her grandchildren grow and take on the world, she treasured every moment. She was especially known for her delicious Italian cooking, which brought family and friends together around the table.
In addition to her love of family, Virginia gave back to her community through her volunteer work, including her involvement with the Fair Board and St. Joseph/Bishop Brossart High School bingo, where she formed lasting friendships and made a meaningful difference.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jacqueline Foppe; her brother, Frank Foppe; and Allen Ray Jump Sr.
Gee is survived by her brother, John (Sherrie) Foppe; her children, Allen (Julie) Jump and Joshua (Becky) Jump; and her beloved grandchildren, Allen (Ellie) Jump and Rosie Jump. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Joesph Cold Spring followed by burial at Saint Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
