Wanda Lee Monroe, 81, of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky, to her parents, Earl and Rosie (Johnson) Tucker.
Wanda was a devoted homemaker whose world revolved around her family. Everyone who met her loved her warm and caring nature. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert William Monroe, in 2022; her daughters, Annette Andrew and Michelle Monroe; her brothers, Junior Tucker and Harvey Tucker; and her sister, Pauline Messer.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Stephen) Rechtin, Darlene (Sean) Monroe, and Rose Marie (Kenny) Bihr; her sons, David (Michelle) Monroe, Johnny Monroe, and Jeff (Tonya) Monroe; her sister, Juantia Hardtke; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at St. Stephen’s Cemetery on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
