Obituary For Wayne Partin

Wayne Partin, 90, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Born in Pineville, Kentucky, Wayne was the cherished son of the late Lenville and Mae Partin. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife, Joan Partin, as well as his sisters, Mary Francis Partin, Evelyn Evans, and Lola Partin.

Wayne leaves behind a family who will forever treasure his memory, including his devoted daughter, Heather Elaine Gilliam (Michael), and his grandsons, Jason Lee Gilliam (Tabatha Ialacchi) and Bronson Wayne Gilliam. His love for his family was steadfast and unwavering, and nothing brought him greater pride than watching them grow and celebrating their accomplishments.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Wayne served his country with honor before beginning a long career as a service technician with Sears. He was known for his dependable work ethic, quiet strength, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Outside of work, Wayne found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the golf course, cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and taking exceptional pride in maintaining a beautiful yard. Whether tending his lawn, watching a basketball game, or enjoying time with those he loved, Wayne appreciated the moments that made life meaningful.

Above all, Wayne will be remembered as a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a kind, humble man whose gentle spirit and unwavering devotion to his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to share in his life.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy. 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.
