Obituary For William Louis Enzweiler

William “Willie” Louis Enzweiler, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026, surrounded by family. Born in Newport, Kentucky on August 21, 1948, he was the son of the late Donald Enzweiler and Christine (House) Heckerman.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Willie served as an electronics technician aboard the USS Coronado while stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Following his military service, he built a long career in wholesale electrical sales.

Willie lived his life much like a good round of golf: with good humor, and a deep appreciation for the people around him. Beyond his time on the course with the senior golf league, he shared his love of music through the church choir and the Sanity Singers. Above all, Willie’s greatest accomplishment was his family, whom he loved beyond measure. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Enzweiler and Christine (House) Heckerman.

Those left here to carry on his loving legacy are his wife of 55 years, Linda Jane Enzweiler; his children, William (Erin) Enzweiler, Kim (Ralph) Huser; his adored grandchildren, Braden and Hope Huser, his brother Donnie (Sue) Enzweiler, and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Linnemann Funeral Home 30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018 with Pastor Ken Easley officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday evening, August 20, 2026, at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Willie’s name to Navy Relief Society https://www.nmcrs.orgor St. Elizabeth Hospice of Hope Edgewood, 483 S Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY, 41017.
