Obituary For Zachary Joseph Snyder
Zachary Joseph Snyder, 16, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born in Moline, Illinois, on August 5, 2009, he was the beloved son of Mark Snyder and Jennifer Snyder.
Zachary was a student at Conner High School, where he was an active member of the Marching Band. He also worked at McDonald’s as a Crew Trainer, where his strong work ethic and friendly personality made a lasting impression on both coworkers and customers.
Zachary found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the people he loved most. He cherished playing cards and tiles with his grandmama, and sharing special “7 Brews Saturdays” with his mom and his sister, Kara, whom he adored and considered his best friend. He loved roller coasters, Harry Potter, all kinds of music, and singing in the shower. A devoted fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, he also enjoyed Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, Monster Energy drinks and McDonald’s burritos. Zachary was also his mom's "Travel Buddy," enjoying the one on one time they got to spend together.
Zachary had a passion for food and cooking, especially making eggs, and was known as a “dog whisperer” who had a special bond with animals, especially his beloved dog, Hank, and his sister’s dog, DaVinci.
He will be remembered as someone who never met a stranger. Zachary had a huge heart, was loved by everyone, and would help anyone in need. A true social butterfly with an old soul, his kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit touched countless lives.
Zachary was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Snyder; great aunts Connie and Dolly; and his uncle Chad.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sister and best friend, Kara (D’ontae Berry) Snyder; grandparents Carol and Ron Rothert, Jim and Barb Conitz, Mike and Kris Snyder, and Dianna and Rob Burger; aunts Terri (Scott) Law, Amy (Dana) Eggleston, Chrissy (Neil) Suiter, Kelly (Nick Bowes) Senseney, and Jenn Tripp; uncles Derek Senseney and Todd Snyder; bonus aunts Jerilyn Clark and Amber Lane; bonus uncle “MadMan” Girt; numerous cousins; and his best buddy, his dog Hank.
A Celebration of Zachary’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Mission Church of God, 7851 Tanners Lane, Florence, Kentucky 41042.

Zachary’s light, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
