Erlanger-Elsmere district kindergarten registration window set; schools offer information, requirements

 
Arnett, Howell, Lindeman and Miles Elementary Schools will hold kindergarten and first grade registration for the 2015-2016 Erlanger-Elsmere Independent District’s school year on the dates and times listed below:
 
Wednesday, March 11
• 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
• 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
 
Thursday, March 12
• 9 – 11 a.m.
• 1 – 2:30 p.m.
 
Eligible kindergarten students must be five years old on or before Oct. 1. Eligible first grade students must be six years old by Oct. 1.
 
Any child presently enrolled in an Erlanger-Elsmere School Kindergarten Class will not need to register for the 2015-2016 school year.
 
Bring the following items to the registration:
• Proof of residency indicated by a copy of a lease, deed, or current utility bill;
• An official birth certificate of student; and
• Social Security Card for student (optional).
 
By the first day of school in August, a current immunization certificate, and school physical exam form must be presented to the school office in order for the child to begin school. Proof of a vision exam and the dental screening/exam must be returned to the school office by January, 2016.
