I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals and families during breast cancer diagnosis, announces the nominees for the WINGS award, recognizing breast cancer patients and survivors of exceptional strength.
Rosalyn Mathie was recognized as the winner of the 2014 Wings Award.
2015 Nominees include Flora Alfred, Jen Anderson, Shelley Ballou-Pectal, Andrea Bashor, Angie Callihan, Lillian Crook, Steve DelGardo, Savonna Edwards, Megan Franklin, Marie Gonzalez, Jeannie Hampton, Viola Kinman, Stephanie Kleiner, Emily Koeppe, Angela Kremer, Shelley Mayo, Brittani McElfresh, Tina McLaughlin, Jade Morgan-Spriggs, Bobbie Niehaus, Margaret Plowdrey, Melva Prather, Julie Randolph, Cheryl Rodgers, Paty Siry, and Shelia Welch.
The award recipient will be recognized at the Spring Bling luncheon on April 18. The luncheon is the foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year, raising money to assist Tri-State Breast Cancer Families both financially and emotionally.
I Have Wings runs multiple programs to assist families. One such program, the No-One Goes Solo Program, offers emotional support and emergency financial assistance on a one-on-one basis.
