From the National Weather Service:
A winter storm warning remains in effect from noon today to 1 p.m. Thursday for Northern Kentucky. Heavy snow, with accumulations of 6 to 10 inches, is highly likely.
Rain will transition to snow this afternoon, then increase in intensity this evening. The snow will remain across the area tonight into Thursday morning before diminishing Thursday afternoon.
Hazardous travel conditions are possible due to reduced visibilities and snow accumulations.

My poor brother lives in Alabama, near Huntsville. The last storm that came through down there paralyzed them. I suspect this will make them go catatonic. I told him the whole state of Alabama probably has only one snow plow … and they rent that from Tennessee!
