The play, also titled Our Best Tomorrow, will debut at Turkey Foot Middle School, 3230 Turkey Foot Road in Edgewood at 7 p.m. on Thursday April 23, 2015 with follow-up performances at 7 p.m. on Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25. Additional private showings have been planned for student groups and Kicks for Kids.

Our Best Tomorrow presents the stories of three childhood friends who overcome obstacles to live the American dream through education, hard work and responsible decisions. Our Best Tomorrow will be produced and directed by Rachel Retherford, Director of Turkey Foot Middle School’s Drama Department.

“Our expected attendance over the three days of performances will exceed 1,500 people,” stated Retherford. “The drama department of Turkey Foot Middle School is thrilled and honored to have one of our own students’ work highlighted for our Spring production. I expect the play to be very successful, reaching more and more students with a positive message across the Commonwealth and beyond.”

Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Crestview Hills has teamed up with the authors and Turkey Foot Middle School for this unique event. Copies of Our Best Tomorrow signed by both authors will be available for purchase prior to curtain time, during intermission and following the conclusion of each performance. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book will benefit the Turkey Foot Middle School Drama Department.
