NKADD awarded $50,000 grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation for career center in Covington


The Northern Kentucky Area Development District has been approved by The Greater Cincinnati Foundation for a $50,000 grant to benefit the Covington location of the Kentucky Career Center. This two-year grant will offset the costs of area partners to use the space, which serves businesses and job seekers throughout the Northern Kentucky region.

Of the total amount, $25,000 is from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. / US Bank Foundation Northern Kentucky Fund, part of the Northern Kentucky Family of Funds and a Field of Interest Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation. This grant is made possible by generous donors who have contributed to The Greater Cincinnati Foundation since 1963.

The NKADD is a collaboration of local leaders and staff educating and empowering communities by implementing quality services through specific areas of expertise in Aging, Community Development, Human Services, and Workforce Development. The NKADD provides services in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton Counties.
