“PWC has served veterans since its founding 40 years ago, but we’ve worked to put more emphasis on veterans services over the past three years,” said Jock Pitts, president and CEO of PWC. “Many veterans don’t know about all the resources available to them, including PWC’s offerings. The Ramp it Up program allows us to highlight those resources while giving back to the veterans in our community.”

The Ramp it Up for Veterans kickoff event will take place from 8:30-11 a.m. at Citi in Florence. This event is free and open to the public. Veterans and their family members are encouraged to attend and to speak with support agencies on-site.

PWC’s 2015 Ramp it UP for Veterans program is sponsored by Citi, who donated $65,000 to be used in assisting veterans in Northern Kentucky.

At the end of the kickoff program, a group of Citi volunteers will move to work sites to help make critical home repairs and build ramps for a number of local low-income, elderly and/or disabled veterans.
