The Company, one of the area’s party bands and the biggest hit of the 2014 Music@BCM season, returns to Devou Park on Thursday, Aug. 13, for another performance.
Formed in 2011 by Ramona Blaine and Paul Kindt, this seven-piece ensemble is a “funky cover band,” with a decades-spanning song list. The recipient of the “Best of Weddings” award from The Knot in 2014 and 2015, The Company has built a reputation as a top entertainment choice.
The Company’s concert takes place outdoors in Behringer-Crawford Museum’s amphitheater at 1600 Montague Road-Devou Park in Covington. In the event of rain, the performance moves indoors. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the performance from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. BCM members are admitted free with a paying guest.
Adult beverages will be available for purchase; Behringer-Crawford members will receive one free drink ticket. Concertgoers also can purchase food from Colonial Cottage and support local youth and community organizations in the process.
A bonus Music@BCM concert, Bourbon ‘n’ Blues Redux, starring keyboardist/song stylist and “Goddess of the Blues” Cheryl Renée and her Blues Band, wraps up the 2015 season on Thursday, Aug. 20.
