Village Players of Fort Thomas are calling for participants in auditions for a production of ‘My Friend the Fox.’
Auditions will be Sunday, August 16, at 3 p.m. and Monday, August 17, at 7 p.m. at the theater, 8 North Fort Thomas Avenue. There will be cold readings from the scripts. You’ll be asked for a photo and resume and to acknowledge any conflicts.
The play, by William Glennon, will be directed by Rex Sholar.
This family-friendly fable introduces the Fox-clever, sly, but likable – who befriends Justi, a simple woodsman. Fox persuades the king that Justi is wealthy and in search of a princess to marry. These lies, of course, brings trouble, conflict and humor. Justi eventually proves his worth, however, and takes his place as the story’s hero.
