Police identify the four victims of ‘horrific’ crash in Fort Wright on Highland Pike yesterday afternoon


The four people killed in a “horrific” two-car crash on Fort Wright’s Highland Pike yesterday have been identified by police officials.

The victims are Kenneth J. Harstock, 48, of Edgewood; Sarah G. Willis, 70, and her husband John S. Willis, 79, of Bromley and her sister Gloria J. Roaden, 72, of Ludlow.

The accident happened at 2:55 p.m. near the intersection of Highland Pike and Reeves Drive, authorities said. A medical helicopter was called but crash victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police report, a car driven by Hartsock headed downhill on Highland Pike and crossed the median before hitting the vehicle driven by Sarah Willis and carrying her sister and husband.
