Covington Latin’s ExploreMore program for K-8 students will be offer on three successive Saturday mornings, starting October 31.
The ExploreMore!offers a broad range of enrichment courses designed for bright and enthusiastic students in a learning environment where creativity and critical thinking meet – encouraging students to discover hidden talents, explore new interests outside the classroom and deepen existing ones.
From science and mathematics to the visual and performing arts, students explore an ever-changing array of topics through a hands-on, minds-on approach – in a learning atmosphere filled with like-minded and similarly engaged peers.
The small class size allows for personalized attention from qualified instructors and increased opportunity to participate in class activities.
Fall 2015 sessions will be held:
Saturday, October 31 | 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, November 7 | 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, November 14 | 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.
All courses will be held on the campus of Covington Latin School.
Courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to small class sizes, seating is limited.
The sessions will be held at CLS. Courses offered range from Beginning Guitar and Video Game Design to Rollercoaster Physics and Zoology 101.
Registration can be submitted online online (or postmarked) by Friday, October 23.
