Number 13 will be in town on May 13 for Opening Night of Greater Cincinnati’s Minor League baseball team.
Cincinnati baseball legend Davey Concepcion will join the Florence Freedom as they take on the Windy City Thunderbolts to open up the 2016 campaign. The former Reds shortstop will be an honorary Freedom player on Opening Night and participate in:
– Meeting with fans pre-game
– Delivering the lineup card to home plate
– Taking the field at shortstop in uniform for a great fan photo opportunity
– Signing autographs/taking pictures on the concourse with fans during the game
– The Freedom are also doing a limited amount of Davey Concepcion bobbleheads on Opening Night

Fans can guarantee themselves a Concepcion bobblehead in two fashions:
– The ‘Davey Concepcion Opening Day 6-pack’
– A Davey Concepcion Meet ‘n Greet
The ‘Davey Concepcion Opening Day 6-pack’ for just $75 includes a reserved ticket to Opening Night, May 13, a Concepcion bobblehead, an autograph and picture voucher with Concepcion on the concourse and five reserved ticket vouchers for future 2016 games (vouchers can be combined in any fashion).
Meet ‘n Greets with Davey will take place pre-game, are $50 and are limited on a first come, first serve basis. They include: a Q & A with Concepcion, Opening Day reserved ticket, a bobblehead, autograph and photo voucher with Concepcion in the pre-game festivities.
For an additional $20, a friend or family member can join guests in the Concepcion meet ‘n greet. This includes them being in the photo with the Cincinnati legend. Additional autographs ($20) and bobbleheads ($10) can also be purchased for the adjoining family member or friend.
The Florence Freedom play all home games at UC Health Stadium, located just off I-75. The Freedom compete in the professional Independent Frontier League, playing a 96-game schedule annually against other Frontier League teams stretching from St. Louis to Washington, Pennsylvania.
