Macy’s Arts Sampler Weekend is coming to Behringer-Crawford Museum this Saturday — bringing free live music and free admission.
Performing live are:
Rabbit Hash Band – 1:30 p.m.
Raison d’Etre – 2:45 p.m.
It’ll be a foot-stomping family sing-a-long with two lively musical performances as part of ArtsWave’s free arts festival.
At 1:30 p.m., the Rabbit Hash String Band, with Warren Waldron on fiddle, Russ Childers on banjo, Judy Waldron on guitar, and Barb Childers on banjo uke, entertain with old-time tunes from Appalachian traditions.
At 2:45 p.m., it’s the three-way harmony of Violet Rae Webster, Vickie Ellis, and Roberta Schultz of Raison d’Etre with traditional folk songs, a capella swing tunes and cowboy anthems.
Admission to the concerts and the museum is free all day.
