Northern Kentucky Health Department offers free diabetes management class at Florence Fire Station


The Northern Kentucky Health Department is offering a free class for those looking to learn how to better control diabetes.

The class will take place Saturday, March 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Florence Fire Department location at 1152 Weaver Road in Florence.

Registration is required. Lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided.

Topics will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more. The class will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian from the Health Department.
