The City of Florence’s annual Great American Cleanup Program will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30p.m.
Sign-in for volunteers is at 8:15 a.m., at the Florence Public Services Maintenance Facility, 7850 Tanners Lane, across from the Florence Government Center.
The program provides an opportunity for children and adults to volunteer and clean litter along City roadways and parks.
Join the City during this national service project and receive a t-shirt, cleaning supplies, continental breakfast, and lunch. Volunteers who locate a piece of “special trash” can return it for a prize.

Spring Cleanup week
The City’s annual Spring Cleanup Week will be held April 18 through April 24, 2016.
Florence residents and business owners can bring items to the Public Services Maintenance Facility, 7850 Tanners Lane (across from the Florence Government Center) for disposal between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m,, Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
No fee or registration required; however, must show proof of Florence residency.
Kentucky eScrap will provide computer and electronics recycling.
Shred-it will provide document destruction. Locked Shred-it security bins will be available at the event for residents to deposit confidential documents for destruction.
Shred-it will shred all documents following the event.
