Hanner to speak at Rotary
Tim Hanner, former Kenton County school superintendent, and founder of the nonprofit NAVIGO, will be guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kenton County at its noon meeting on June 30.
Hanner founded NaviGo College and Career Prep Services to work with high school students and their families with college and career planning. The organization works with employers to provide mentoring and hands-on work experiences, as well as coaches and scholarships.

Tracy Bentle new agent
Tracy Bentle has been appointed as a new agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance at the Campbell County Farm Bureau–Cold Spring Agency. Bentle’s appointment was announced in Louisville by Chuck Osborne, Vice President of Agency Support & Marketing for KFB Insurance.
Bentle attended Northern Kentucky University and worked for more than 15 years in the banking industry prior to joining KFB Insurance.
In her new position, Bentle will call on the residents of Campbell County to offer a wide variety of insurance coverage through KFB Insurance.
She will work with Agency Manager Kevin Geisel and the staff at Campbell County Farm Bureau located at 4200 Alexandria Pike, Suite A, Cold Spring.
Bentle joins a well-established network of approximately 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide. The company, founded in 1943, has offices in all of the commonwealth’s 120 counties. Farm Bureau markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner’s and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning.
The insurance services are affiliated with Campbell County Farm Bureau, one of the largest membership organizations in the county.
Farm Bureau members have access to a variety of membership services, including discount buying programs, college scholarships, farm marketing, and leadership development activities.
Ft. Wright’s new city administrator
Ed Butler was been named new city administrator for Fort Wright, Mayor Dave Hatter announced.
He was selected from a field of 62 applicants.
He has a bachelor’s in Management from NKU and an MBA from Xavier University. He retired after 20 years with the Kenton County Police Department, including six as chief, and returned to Kenton County as executive director of the 911 Center.
