Skyward, the engine behind Northern Kentucky’s plan for economic growth, and Interact for Health have partnered to offer the free course which will introduce attendees to the risk factors and warning signs of mental health and substance use problems, and teach a five-step action plan to respond to individuals who may need care.

Mental Health problems are more common than heart disease, lung disease, and cancer combined.

Sadly, stigma is one of the biggest barriers to individuals seeking treatment, and therefore is one of the biggest barriers to recovery.

Skyward is dedicated to offering regional access to health and substance abuse services and part of the region’s myNKY plan is to create a culture of positive mental and physical health in Northern Kentucky.
