Fort Thomas welcomes a new neighbor on Saturday, August 13, when Denise Kersting’s Diamonds and Dimples Chic Boutique opens up shop, relocating from its current Bellevue location on Fairfield Avenue to Highland Plaza at 654 Highland Avenue, Fort Thomas.
“Knowing that this community is supportive of small businesses and local retailers, and with a great many of my customers from the Fort Thomas area, made this a perfect fit,” says Kersting.
Diamonds and Dimples Chic Boutique carries a large selection of one-of-a-kind baby and toddler clothes, accessories and toys as well as specialty gifts, home décor, wedding items and jewelry. The boutique also showcases local artists and vendors.
“We are excited to relocate to Fort Thomas,” says Kersting. “We have been growing quickly and needed a bigger location. The minute I walked into the Fort Thomas space, I knew I had found the ideal place.”
The increased store space allows Kersting to expand her inventory, which will include additional toddler sizes and add new children’s lines, such as Stephen Joseph, Melissa and Doug, and Doodle Pants.
An opening is planned for August 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring free Kona Ice from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and activities throughout the day. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the city of Fort Thomas will precede the grand opening from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday.
Special guests include the Fort Thomas city officials.
