Concert to benefit ESNKY Friday at Highlands UMC in Fort Thomas, guests asked to bring a donation

A concert to benefit the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky (ESNKY) takes place Friday, Sept. 9, at the Highlands United Methodist Church plaza in Fort Thomas.

ESNKY benefit concertThe Gimme Shelter Benefit Concert is free, but guests are asked to bring a donation for the ESNKY in lieu of an admission charge.

The event is the brainchild Riley Kuether, a young man from Fort Thomas, working on his Eagle Scout Project.
The concert features Keuther and fellow local musicians Ben Eglian, Marty Malloy, Ben Armstrong, Sean O’Brien and SKylar Mullins.

Items needed include:

*Coffee
*Creamer
*Sugar
*men’s underwear
*small wasted men’s jeans
*white tube socks
*adult winter coats/hats/scarves

The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the church plaza, located at 314 North Fort Thomas Avenue, in Fort Thomas.

The ESNKY is commonly referred to as the “cold shelter” because one of its primary functions is to provide safe haven for the homeless during frigid winter months. The Shelter, however, provides a wide range of services all year long.
